Cherries have a long and juicy history in Paris, going right back to the Ancient Roman era. They became big business in the following centuries & became favorites of the likes of Queen Marie Antoinette. The queen of frivolity & excess was also generous and not only did she let them eat cake, she also said let them drink wine, Merlot that is. Merlot known for its soft sensual texture that is made from plum skinned grapes which is mostly produced in the south of France. You haven’t experienced Paris Unless you have had a cherry tart at a patisserie or a glass of vin at the bar.
This boozy, sophisticated twist to the classic black cherry and deep dark and luscious merlot. Top notes of black currant and apple brighten the red wine and black cherry hear of this beautiful scent. Aged oak and amber base notes highlight the merlot while vanilla balances the sweet finish. Patchouli and nutmeg essential oils enhance the wood and spice notes for added dept.
